These are a sample of historic buildings in the cities of La Mesa, Lemon Grove, and El Cajon, California. A few examples of unique styles are also provided from the nearby area of eastern San Diego city.

The City of La Mesa's website includes many of these structures and provides detailed descriptions and the histories of each. The La Mesa Historical Society also has information on many buildings in the community.

There is no formal list of historic properties in the City of Lemon Grove, CA. These images were compiled on the basis of research regarding historic properties within the city.

The murals in Lemon Grove depict the history of San Diego County and California as a whole, as well as Lemon Grove.
